Dr. Saumya Mishra – Psychiatrist in Mumbai

Saumya Mishra is a psychiatrist who believes in a client-centered, strength-based approach, and whole-person recovery. She has been trained at esteemed institutions like Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi, where she did her under-graduation (MBBS); National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, where she did post-graduation (MD) in Psychiatry; and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where she did super-specialization (DM) in Addiction Psychiatry.

She has worked briefly at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), New Delhi. She has extensive exposure to various clinical cases and their management, ranging from medicines to psychosocial interventions. She has experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams and liaising with allied professionals and specialists, which is a cornerstone for whole-person recovery. She has a keen interest in women’s mental health and dual-diagnosis disorders.
